March 9-11, 2007

For the second year running, Bishop Paul was asked to lead the Alpha Program Holy Spirit Weekend Retreat for the Pearblossom Community United Methodist Church at Camp Wrightwood in the San Bernardino Mountains.

The retreat took place over the weekend of March 9, 10 and 11 and marks the half way point in the Alpha course. More information on Alpha may be found at: www.alpha.org .

Church of the Apostles will be hosting its own Alpha Course after the Summer break, starting in late August 2007. The course is open to members and visitors as well as those wishing to learn about the Christian faith. Using a combination of live presentations and small breakout groups the course walks attendees through "Christianity 101".

Bishop Paul will be leading a six part Bible Study on the first six chapters of the Book of Daniel starting the first Wednesday in April. The study will be in the evenings from 6.30p.m. to 7.45p.m. All are welcome. Contact the church office at (661) 297-9772 for more details.

Church of the Apostles will be conducting an inquirers class. The class will be led by Fr. Paul on Sunday Mornings at 9.00 A.M before our usual celebration of the Holy Eucharist. It will provide an insight into Anglican Church History and an explanation of the theology of the Anglican Faith.
